Public School Told to Remove Picture of Jesus!

The battle to drive Christianity and the open exercise of Christianity underground continues by the ACLU and it accomplices in the Courts and the mainstream press. In particular, Bridgeport High School in West Virginia was told to remove a portriat of Jesus that had hung on the wall outside the principal's office for 37 years, because having the portrait there illegally endorses Christianity. I have also learned that some coward stole just the portrait, leaving the frame behind, shortly after the school and the school board decided to fight the demand to remove the portrait.

Here is the e-mail I sent to the faculty, staff and students of Bridgeport High School expressing my support for their willingness to stand up to the godless ACLU and its willing accomplices:

Mr. Mark DeFazio, Mrs. Mary Frances Smith, Faculty, Staff and Students:

I just learned of the controversy concerning the Jesus Portrait that had been hanging in your school for 37 years, and the attack by the ACLU and others to force its removal. I also just learned of the theft of the portrait. I must commend you and the community for taking the principled stand that you have taken. I am sorry to hear that some coward has stolen the portrait. I hope that the thief is found and severely punished for his criminal act.

It is about time that the God-fearing people of this country stand up to the godless hoards who are doing everything they can to destroy those things that have made this country great. While there is a fax survey going around about your case, I decided that I wanted to contact you and tell you directly that I support your decision to fight to keep the portrait. Keep the portrait up. Fight the ACLU. It is so unfortunate that at this time, it is considered courageous to stand up to the ACLU. When I was growing up, it would have been considered Anti-American to suggest that your portrait was a bad thing and needed to be removed. This is an unfortunate change in our cultural attitude, and needs to change. As a lawyer who has only recently come to the realization that my law school education was tilted to the left and completely ignored discussions and teaching about the real meaning of our founding documents and our form of government, I appreciate and fully support your willingness to stand up and fight for the one part of the First Amendment that the ACLU and its willing accomplices in the courts and the mainstream press have unconstitutionally written out of the Bill of Rights: “Congress shall make no law . . . prohibiting the free exercise [of religion].”

Your willingness to stand up and fight is inspirational. I hope it will motivate others to stand up and fight against these homegrown terrorist groups who use our system and laws to destroy the fabric of our society.
